Building Sustainable Projects

We have had great success in building sustainable projects throughout the county. The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Program, established by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), is a well-recognized and supported program throughout the United States. BYCOR has been awarded numerous projects in San Diego County that have won LEED certifications.

Energy Efficient Vehicles

BYCOR owns several Toyota Prius’ and other Alternatively Fueled Vehicles. These vehicles provide excellent gas mileage while allowing our crews to move materials as required. When larger vehicles are required, we have purchased diesel-powered trucks for their fuel and carrying capacity efficiency.

Recycling

We attempt to recycle 100% of our construction debris, even when the project is not a LEED affiliated development. All other materials are recycled and donated (carpet, cabinets, etc).
